Flowers and fashion have always appeared to me as two very similar concepts. Both are extremely beautiful and don’t last long. Some flowers, just like trends, even disappear and flourish again some seasons later. We love fashion and flowers, and we buy them in spite of their ephemeral character. Maybe it’s one of their appeals. The works of the artists showcased today here represent this theory in some way.
These optical illusions that play with perspective are made by Tatiana Mikhina, a Russian photographer based in Moscow. Roses, tulips… To create perfect skirts. Tatiana is specialized in portraits, dance photoshoots, and she does fashion pictures too. I’ll dedicate a post to her work very soon because it’s really amazing.
